The research of the working group Positioning and Navigation is aiming at the improvement of GNSS-based positioning and the development of innovative and alternative strategies for navigation. Our theoretical applications are validated through special experiments and implemented into an evaluation software developed at the institute.
Topics
The current topics of the group include: GNSS and atomic clocks, collaborative positioning and virtual receivers, GNSS antenna calibration and GNSS signal extention, integrity and interval mathematics, inertial navigation, stochastic models and filters and the precise kinematic orbit determination of low-flying satellites.
