Mohammadreza Heidarianbaei, M.Sc., Institute for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (IPI) received the Best Paper Award for his contribution "NoMeFormer: NonManifold Mesh Transformer" in the "Semantics3D" workshop, presented at the ISPRS Geospatial Week in April 2025 in Dubai. The paper is co-authored by Mareike Dorozynski, Max Mehltretter and Franz Rottensteiner.
The joint paper "Uncertainty and Conceptual Model of a Camera System in a Car Crash Test Scenario" by researchers from the Geodetic Institute of Hannover and Volkswagen AG was awarded the Best Paper Award in the “Vision Metrology and Uncertainty Assessment” workshop. Authored by Timo Kaminski (VW AG), Sören Vogel (Deutsche Bahn), Karsten Raguse (VW AG), Ingo Neumann and Hamza Alkhatib (GIH), the paper presents a detailed model for quantifying and analyzing the uncertainties of camera systems in realistic crash‑test scenarios.
